Yesterday, we went over the number of red flags in the behavior of Jack and Lily’s mother, Mallaya Brooks Murray.
The biggest thing for me is how she left the property where her kids allegedly vanished — almost as if she knew they weren’t coming back there anyway. It’s incredibly suspicious.
Do I think Mallaya’s behavior is deceptive? Yes, I definitely do. Her actions are not those of an innocent parent who truly wants their children found and brought home.
As the saying goes: “You don’t look for things that are not lost.”
She never searched. She never pleaded with the supposed abductors — even though she claims the children were taken. Make that make sense.
As the days go by, even more red flags emerge. She reopened her Facebook page, but that decision had nothing to do with advocating for her missing children. Instead, she used it to change her relationship status to single, add new Facebook friends, and remove all the photos of Daniel.
Samiva mentioned it feels like she’s trying to throw Daniel under the bus when the truth finally comes out.
Yesterday, a candlelight vigil was held to mark one month since the children’s disappearance. It was beautiful, and so many community members came out to pray and light candles for Jack and Lily.
Daniel was there, as were the biological grandmothers from the paternal side. They came despite the hate and public blame. Daniel said people stare at him when he’s out in public, but despite that, he still speaks up and continues to show up for the children.
The mother, on the other hand, was a complete no-show at the vigil. Many are saying her absence speaks volumes.
