Host Fleur East started off by saying: |Stefan, welcome back It’s nice to have you here.

“We heard from you at the start of the week but firstly what happened last week and how are you now?”

Stefan revealed: “I had a little bit of a turn, I had a little bit of an episode vertigo but it was all ok, I’ve made myself right again with the help from some good people at the hospital.”

He continued: “It’s all ok but I’ve got to say to everybody out there, thank you for all your lovely well wishes and wanting me to be on the recovery and get back on the dance floor, which I am now.”

Fleur jumped in: “Yes, which you are now and we are so happy to hear.” Turning her attention to Dianne she said: “You were still there cheering everyone on.”

Dianne confirmed: “I was, yes” Fleur then asked: “I bet you’re happy now to be back in the training room with Stefan?”

The professional dancer replied: “It was so odd but obviously amazing to watch everyone.

“Not having the nerves on Saturday night was very odd to me but I did miss Stefan and I couldn’t wait for him to be back with me.”

It comes after the pair appeared on Wednesday’s (October 15) episode of BBC The One Show to share how their week of rehearsals are going.

Stefan shared: “Good as gold. It’s very funny because, as I was saying today, I said for the first time, I’m actually really starting to feel really confident about doing the dance and actually wanting to do it.

“Up until now, being a complete non-dancer, I had fear, I’ve had fear every single dance, even though sometimes I’ve got a little bit right. Coming back with the Charleston is a really fun dance”, as Dianne interjected: “You’re doing really well with it!”

Dianne added that although rehearsals were “rocky” on Monday, she said: “As it goes on, he learns more and more about the dance, and I think it’s gonna be a good dance for us.”
