we’ll be looking at Daniel’s latest interview and some messages from Daniel where he talks about Malaya. Also, we have a new update about the search that took place yesterday.

So, the first thing we’re going to look at is what Daniel had to say in a recent interview:

“Every day when I wake up, it just feels like I’m reliving the nightmare of May 2nd. But the main feeling has gone from sadness to anger, ’cause there’s no evidence at all, even after one month. And it’s really taken a toll. I know that they’re working hard and they’re using every resource they have, and it makes me hopeful — because that’s all we have at this point: hope. I’m going to keep fighting for the rest of my life to find these kids. That’s the only goal I have at this point.”

So, Daniel has said that he’s going to find Jack and Lily, and that’s his only goal. He also points out that it’s been a month now, and there’s still no evidence — no sign of Jack and Lily at all.

To be honest with you guys, it’s hard to know what’s actually happened here, but I really don’t think Jack and Lily are in the forest. After one month of searching, they would’ve found something. Also, Daniel has stayed there the whole time and is the only one actually speaking to the media. We haven’t seen Malaya since she disappeared, and I find it hard to understand why she just left the area and won’t speak to anyone — especially when her kids are apparently missing and nothing suspicious has supposedly happened. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

The problem is, it’s been over a month and we still don’t know what exactly has happened. That’s what makes it so worrying. If Jack and Lily just went missing, it’s been a very long time — and I can’t work out how they haven’t found anything.

Now, let’s take a look at the most recent update from the search yesterday.

We’re bringing you your update on the search for Jack and Lily Sullivan this evening.

What we’ve heard from today’s search is that searchers in Pictou County have scoured the area where a boot print was found during a previous search. The searchers are saying that they have very little to go on and don’t even know whether that print belonged to Lily or Jack.

We know they’ve been missing since the 2nd of October. The search manager, Amy Hansen, said:

“We don’t know for sure it was from the children, but it’s the only real thing that we’ve got to go on so far.”

The search today focused on Lanstown Lake and the nearby pipeline trail where the boot print was located. Hansen said the woods are full of brush and debris, which has made it difficult for searchers. So far, the crews have done a grid search of about six square kilometers and are expected to search an additional one or two square kilometers this weekend.

It’s unclear whether they’ll be going back out tomorrow or finishing that area today — since they’re already about four hours behind schedule. They’ve said there were three drones helping with the search today, but poor weather conditions meant helicopters couldn’t assist.

In addition to that, the Colchester team and ground search and rescue teams from Pictou, Strait, East Hants, Springhill, Pugwash, and Halifax were also helping today. But they said they’re starting to see people who are physically and emotionally unable to return to the search at this point — it’s incredibly taxing.

So, unfortunately, this isn’t the kind of update we were hoping for today. If we get more updates, I’ll let you know. Like I said, I’m not 100% sure if they’re going to continue searching into this evening to cover the rest of the ground, or if they plan to return tomorrow — that wasn’t made clear.

So, it looks like nothing was found in yesterday’s search. No evidence, no leads — still no answers.

If the police believe Jack and Lily are just missing, then at least some progress has been made by searching such a large area. But if you don’t believe that, then you might say no real progress has been made — because it depends on what you believe actually happened.

At first, the police said they were stopping the searches. Then they collected loads of trail cam footage, apparently spotted the kids in it, went back out searching — and still found nothing.

Obviously, they’re not going to tell us everything, but it would be nice to know what is actually going on. Daniel seems to believe it was an abduction — and if that’s the case, then action needs to be taken quickly.

But there are still many people suggesting the parents know more than they’re saying. So, we’re still left with a big mystery.

Now we have some shocking messages that are apparently from Daniel — so let’s check them out.

These messages were released recently by someone who I believe did a livestream today or yesterday. They said the messages are from Daniel, and in them, he talks about Malaya.

Let’s take a look at what was said.

The first message reads:

“I only wish I could tell you fine details surrounding Malaya and her family and the disappearance. I’ll let you know that Malaya was set to stay with me and the baby, to leave with my cousin. But five minutes alone with her mother after the first search briefing — Malaya completely changed. She couldn’t even look at me. An hour before this, Malaya told RCMP she felt happiest and safest with me.”

These messages are very interesting. If they’re true, it sounds like Daniel is saying Malaya’s mom is the reason Malaya changed her mind. But why would she do that? Is there a lot more going on here than we thought?

The message continues:

“Lily and Jack called me Dad and came to me for everything — never Malaya. She had no control over the kids. They were wild with her and with me they listened and were well-behaved. I promised myself I’d always be there for Malaya and the kids.”

So, is this hinting that Malaya didn’t get along well with Jack and Lily? That’s what it sounds like. But in the birthday party video we’ve seen, I didn’t notice anything seriously wrong with how the parents acted.

This is definitely a wild message — but it still doesn’t tell us much about the disappearance. It’s more about Malaya and her relationship with the kids.

What really matters right now is what happened to Jack and Lily.

And keep in mind — these messages aren’t 100% confirmed to be from Daniel. That’s a problem, because we don’t need fake or misleading information.

I’ll always let you know if something hasn’t been confirmed as true. We need to keep facts separate from speculation. And for now, these messages can’t be verified.
