Vicky Pattison, who is one of the contestants on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, was left emotional after one professional shared a heartfelt post on social media this week.
This year on the BBC show, professional dancer Lauren Oakley has been partnered with sports star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as they earned an impressive score of 25, putting them seventh on the leaderboard.
Despite them both impressing the judges, it seems as though Lauren left people emotional after sharing a moment people didn’t get to see, leaving Vicky Pattison in tears.
This comes after the Geordie contestant recently opened up on being ‘overwhelmed’ while learning her Charleston routine.
In the video, people saw Lauren taking to the dancefloor with an older gentleman called Mark, who is her mum’s dance partner.

“He’s supported me at every competition growing up, and all the way through my professional on-stage and Strictly career.
“It was an absolute pleasure to be able to dance a Waltz with him on the Strictly floor during the pre-records [sic], a special moment indeed.”

It wasn’t long before people commented on the sweet clip as Vicky said: “Why did this make me cry?” In agreement, Gorka Marquez added: “This was so beautiful.”
Someone else shared: “Oh I filled up reading this, beautiful. How lovely.” While another person commented: “How special for both of you Lauren. And so stunningly beautiful!”
One follower added: “What an incredibly special and beautiful moment, a full circle moment.” While another said: “Brings a tear to the eyes.”
This weekend, people will see Lauren take to the dancefloor with Jimmy as they take on a dramatic Rumba to the song No Time To Die from James Bond for Movie Week.
