Last weekend, BBC audiences settled in to witness the remaining celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing grace the dance floor once more in their quest to wow the judging panel.
Throughout the show, which has recently saw one person forced to withdraw, Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe claimed the top spot on the leaderboard with an impressive score of 36 points.
On the other end, La Voix and Aljaž Škorjanec found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard with just 14 points from the panel, though remarkably, despite achieving the evening’s poorest score, they managed to avoid the dreaded dance-off.
Ultimately, audiences saw Balvinder Sopal finding herself in the bottom two yet again as she faced off against Chris Robshaw.

It appears his fellow contestant Vicky Pattison has been deeply affected by Chris’s elimination from the programme, as she posted a montage of photographs together on Instagram.
She wrote alongside the touching tribute: “What a guy. Watching your friends leave this show was always going to be tough but @chrisrobshawrugby I think I speak for the entire strictly family when I say this one was extra specially hard.
“Chris, you are so dedicated and hardworking- but apart from that, you are the warmest and kindest man I know!

“It’s been a proper honour to get to know you properly over the last couple of weeks and @camillakerslake too and I am gutted I won’t get to watch you dance anymore.”
Vicky concluded her post by emphasising how proud Chris should be of his accomplishments, particularly his partnership with celebrity dancer, Nadiya Bychkova.
Chris was swift to respond to the post, affectionately referring to Vicky as his ‘sis’. He commented: “It’s been an amazing journey to share with you. Have loved it and laughed so much, it’s not good bye, just see you later.”
In addition, Chris’ wife chimed in with: “You’re as divine inside as you are out. Whip smart, hilarious, empathic and unfathomably kind. You’re one of a kind Vic.”

Upon his departure from the show, the sports star had nothing but praise for his experience when speaking with Tess Daly. He expressed: “I’ve loved it.
“I’ve had an amazing partner. For me, coming onto this journey, I had no confidence. To be told I had world class qualities on the dancefloor today, even though we have to go home, that’s amazing to hear so thank you very much. It’s given me such confidence.”
This forthcoming Saturday will see the remaining celebrities tackle Icons week, while the much-loved Halloween special is set for the following week.
