If Malaya wanted to leave with those kids, she could have left with those kids. I would have stood up to her and said, “Daniel, let her go. If she wants to leave, let her go.” I should have went out—because I usually do when the kids are outside. I should have. Honestly, I blame myself for not getting up that morning.
Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. In today’s video, we’re diving into a major update in the Jack and Lily Sullivan situation. And this one is very worrying. You’re going to hear shocking audio footage from Daniel’s mom—and the way she speaks about Jack and Lily will leave you speechless. What she says about Malaya, and the guilt she carries from that day… it’s something you need to hear for yourself. This is raw, personal, and very important.
So, this is the full unedited audio from Daniel’s mom. Listen closely, because it might change how you see this entire story.
“I don’t know what she’d gain by this. Honestly, I don’t know. You’d have to ask her. But that girl—that girl—she would get up in the morning, take Jack and Lily and the baby… she would drive Daniel to work. She would come back home, get the kids off to school, and then go back in and do what she had to do. She would go take dinner. If she felt like it, she would take Daniel lunch. She would come back home in time to get the kids off the bus. Then she would go back in and get Daniel from work, and then come back home.
So she had… she had—she wasn’t isolated. Whenever she wanted the car, Daniel gave her the car. Then she bought her own vehicle, and she had that since the 1st of April.
If Malaya wanted to leave with those kids, she could have left with those kids. I would have stood up to her and said, “Daniel, let her go. If she wants to leave, let her go.” Or if I wasn’t here, she could have called 911. I don’t know what is behind Malaya’s mind. I can’t answer that question. I wish I could. I really wish I could. I wish I would have got up that morning and seen what was going on. But I didn’t.
I—I—I am so sorry I let those kids down. I should have got up.
I should have went out—because I usually do when the kids are outside. I should have. Honestly, I blame myself for not getting up that morning.
If I would have got up, this would’ve never happened. It wouldn’t have never happened.
So I don’t know what’s going on in Malaya’s mind. Honestly, I don’t. I wish I did. I wish this would all end. I wish she would come clean—or at least talk to somebody out there and let them know.
I really wish I knew the answer to your question.”
In this recording, Janie says something that really caught my attention. She says, “If Malaya wanted to leave and take the kids, she could have. She had her own car. There was no need to go through all this just to get away from Daniel.”
That line—it’s loaded.
Because what Janie’s really saying here is Malaya had options. She didn’t need to vanish. She didn’t need to hand the kids off to anyone. So then the question becomes: Did she actually give Jack and Lily to someone else in a car? Janie even says that if Malaya had come to her, she would have stood up for her. She would have told Daniel to let her go.
So it feels like Janie is trying to make it clear there was no reason to run. There was help if Malaya wanted it.
And to me, it sounds like Janie is standing behind Daniel’s story. She even says Malaya needs to come clean.
But then something shifts in her tone.
Janie starts blaming herself. She says, “If I got up that morning, whatever happened wouldn’t have happened.” And when I heard that, I got a really bad feeling.
What exactly happened that morning?
Because that line doesn’t sound like someone who’s just speculating. It sounds like someone who feels like they missed a chance to stop something—something serious.
And now I’m asking myself:
Are Jack and Lily really safe? Are they really on a reservation, like some people are claiming?
Or did something much darker happen that morning—
and this is all just a cover story?
The police have said they still don’t know where Jack and Lily are. But if Daniel and his family are this confident about what happened, surely they’ve told police the same story. So—why hasn’t a proper search been launched at this so-called reservation? Why aren’t the police acting like they believe Daniel either?
There’s something about this that just doesn’t sit right.
All right. Now, I just want to bring you the latest update from the RCMP. This was officially published on July 16th. And honestly, it’s important we take a moment to look at where the actual investigation stands. Because with everything we’re hearing—from Janie’s voice recordings to all the theories online—it’s easy to get caught up in what everyone thinks happened.
But what about the police?
What are they actually doing right now?
And from what we can see, they’re not exactly on the same page as Daniel or Janie. So let me show you what information the RCMP have officially released:
The Nova Scotia RCMP’s intensive investigation into the disappearance of Lily and Jack Sullivan continues. The investigative team in the Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigational efforts under the Missing Persons Act.
They are assisted by RCMP units in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario—along with the National Center for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains, the Canadian Center for Child Protection, and provincial and municipal police agencies from Nova Scotia and other parts of Canada.
Their efforts include:
Reviewing approximately 5,000 video files that have been obtained through a video canvas of Lansdown Station and the surrounding areas.
Assessing more than 600 tips from the public.
Formally interviewing more than 60 people, including the administration of polygraph tests to some individuals.
Forensic examination of materials located through ground and air searches in Lansdown Station—including a pink blanket that officers seized on Landown Road.
Submitting judicial authorizations to seize and examine materials and devices that may provide information useful to the investigation.
Right now, there are more than 800 tasks associated with this investigation.
A tremendous amount of careful, deliberate investigative work is underway by people here at home and in other parts of Canada.
Our collective efforts will continue every day until we determine with certainty the circumstances surrounding Lily and Jack’s disappearance.
Investigators encourage anyone with specific information on the whereabouts of Lily and Jack to call the Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit.
