LaVar Ball had to undergo a serious operation in early February.

Ball had to have his right foot amputated after suffering a serious medical matter.

Ball, the father of Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo Ball, commented on the matter via a TikTok video.

“For everyone asking how I’m feeling, I may not have my foot anymore, but you know what I got now? That Primby TikTok verification. Did y’all forget I’m LaVar? If I wanted to, I’d grow it back,” Ball said.

He seems to be in super good spirits even though he doesn’t have his right foot anymore.

Two of his sons are still in the NBA (LaMelo and Lonzo), while LiAngelo has developed an impressive rap career.

LaMelo is the best player of the three, averaging 26 points, seven assists, and five rebounds per game for the Charlotte Hornets during the 2024-25 season. This is his fifth season in the NBA and he is already one of the top players in the league.

Lonzo has been in the NBA since 2017 and started his career with the Los Angeles Lakers. They selected him second overall in the 2017 NBA Draft. He spent two seasons with them before playing for the New Orleans Pelicans for two seasons.

He’s now with the Chicago Bulls, averaging seven points, three assists, and three rebounds per game this season.

LiAngelo was with the Charlotte Hornets in 2022 for the NBA Summer League before being waived in October 2022. He has since started his music career and it’s really taken off.
