Jakub Dobes is truly becoming a fan favorite of the Montreal Canadiens. He remains undefeated in the NHL, with five starts, and he actually won his very first game at the Bell Centre last night against the New York Rangers.

After the game, he was still visibly overwhelmed with emotions and made a nice little revelation.

«I haven’t seen my dad in a year and a half, and he was here tonight.

I was a little nervous because I wanted to do well in front of him.

We’re definitely going to celebrate this together!»

“I might play on the road because these guys are nuts! Like the best crowd I ever had! I said it before, it gives me goosebumps.. this is the best place to play and it’s a privilege to play here every night.”

 

Dobes and the Canadiens won a big game last night against the New York Rangers, 5-4 in overtime.

Dobes was especially outstanding in overtime, and he ultimately blocked 23 of the 27 pucks directed at him.
