“I’m keeping my focus on this next chapter.”

Married at First Sight star Domenica Calarco confirmed in March 2025 that she had split from her partner, Jarod Bogunovich.

Following her pregnancy announcement in early March, fans noted that Jarod was seemingly absent from Dom’s announcement video, with the reality star confirming the following week that she would soon “step into motherhood on my own terms.”

“While I will be welcoming this baby as a solo parent, I am grateful to have the support of the father in a co-parenting capacity,” she wrote, adding, “I also want to acknowledge and support others who choose to embark on parenthood alone – there is so much power in making the best decision for yourself and your child.”

Shortly after revealing the couple had split, Jarod also took to Instagram to confirm the news, writing alongside a sonogram picture, “As most of you already know, Dom and I are officially separated. Moving forward, my main priority is our child and stepping into the role of a father with as much love and support as I can offer.”

“I’m committed to co-parenting and ensuring my child’s wellbeing is always at the forefront. For now, I’m keeping my focus on this next chapter.”

News of the couple’s split comes just over six months after the MAFS fan favourite first confirmed rumours of her new romance.

Hard-launching their romance on Instagram in September 2024, Dom shared a snap alongside Jarod in a photo dump captioned “bit of life updates,” with fans quickly taking to the comments to uncover the identity behind the mystery man.

Dom later confirmed the news to 9Entertainment, telling the publication, “Yes, I can confirm I am in a relationship and I am the happiest I’ve ever been. I finally have a man that puts me first, and it is the best feeling in the entire world.”

The former MAFS bride shared that Jarod had been strong support for her during her stay in a mental health facility, adding,” He was a friend to me throughout my hospital stay, checking in on me all the time which meant the absolute world to me during that extremely difficult period in my life… I lost my friends and my life really changed a lot.”

Taking to her Instagram shortly after the hard launch, Dom gave fans a bit more insight into the early days of the couple’s relationship.

“Around about 6 months ago life as I knew it fell apart right in front of my eyes. I haven’t spoken in depth just yet about the state of my mental health at that time; it was dark( very soon 👀) JB and I were just friends; boxing and coffee buddies. But this man right here came and visited me in hospital every week, brought me snacks, held pads for me 🥊 so I could keep up my fitness. 5 months later, I’m one less lonely girl and have my very own JB,” she wrote alongside a video of the couple at a skatepark.

“Every day that I’m with you is the greatest compliment I could ever receive. I’m so blessed to have you in my life,” Jarod replied.

Prior to her current romance, Dom was most recently in a relationship with Jack Norris.

After a year and a half together, Dom announced the pair had split in May 2024, writing to her Instagram, “I’ve needed a bit of time off socials to work through a breakup. I miss engaging with you all through my social media channels, but the last few weeks have been super intense.”

News of the couple’s split came six months after Dom revealed on her Sit With Us podcast that she and Jack had contemplated starting a family together, with Dom telling co-host Ella Ding, “Being in this relationship and feeling the way I do with my person, and being at this stage in my life, it’s like I know I’m ready. I just know he’s the person I want to do that with.”

In late 2022, Dom spoke openly about her Euro-summer romance with her summer fling, Andre Zitt.

Referring to him as ‘Mr Napoli’ to maintain his anonymity, Dom confirmed the pair had split during a September 2022 episode of her Sit With Us podcast.

“My summer romance hasn’t played out how I guess I wanted it to play out,” she shared, adding, This whole Italian love affair has been amazing and I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.”

“I think I’ve really just reached this point where I’m okay — if I want to have casual sex, I’ll have casual sex. I’m actually really happy on my own and focusing on me, my own mental health, my life and my career.”

While she did not confirm the rumours, in late 2022, fans speculated that Dom had potentially begun a new relationship with fellow Married at First Sight star Anthony Cincotta.

Sharing a snap to celebrate Christmas, fans were quick to point out how much the partially cropped man in the picture resembled the former MAFS contestant.

“Is… that… Anthony?” one fan wrote, with another replying, “I was thinking the same, Anthony from the show 😮😍.”

Despite the fan speculation, rumours of Dom and Anthony’s romance were quickly quashed after fans uncovered that he was still happily loved up with his girlfriend Kate.
