Nicole Kidman is reportedly set to make a life-changing move with her teenage daughters following her shock divorce from Keith Urban.

Nicole Kidman is said to be preparing for a fresh start in Portugal following her shock split from husband of 19 years, Keith Urban.

According to reports, the Oscar-winning actress has been eyeing properties in the ultra-exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club- often described as the “Hamptons of Portugal” as she looks to settle down with her teenage daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14.

The Daily Mail reports that Kidman, 58, has been viewing homes once again in the luxurious Comporta region, located about an hour south of Lisbon, where neighbours include George and Amal Clooney, Paris Hilton and Princess Eugenie.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also said to have a home there, reportedly purchasing a USD $4.7 million beachfront property last year.

In July, Kidman and her daughters were spotted in Portugal for an appointment with the country’s Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA).

Portuguese outlet SIC Notícias reported that she submitted official residency paperwork- notably without Urban’s name listed, which raised eyebrows at the time.

Just months later, Kidman filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Reports suggest that Kidman was “blindsided” by the split, which was initiated by her 57-year-old ex-husband.

Court documents obtained by the Daily Mail show the Babygirl star has requested to be the primary residential parent of their daughters, who are expected to live with her in Portugal.

Under the couple’s parenting agreement, Nicole will have the girls for 306 days each year, while Keith will spend 59 days with them.

During their marriage, the former couple built a property empire worth more than $60 million across Australia and the US.

Their Australian portfolio includes several Milsons Point apartments and a grand Georgian-style estate in the Southern Highlands, while in the US, they own a Nashville mansion dubbed “Queen of Northumberland”, two New York duplexes and a Beverly Hills property.

It’s understood they also jointly own an apartment in Lisbon’s upscale Parque das Nações district.

Collectively, the pair’s fortune is estimated at around USD $505 million (AUD $778 million)- with Kidman’s personal wealth believed to outweigh Urban’s by more than fivefold.

Despite the emotional toll of her divorce, Kidman has continued to appear in public looking confident and radiant.

She’s been photographed at an amfAR gala in Dallas and in the front row at Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris with her daughters.

Earlier this week, she posted a series of striking images on social media, including a close-up of her applying makeup and another of her in a figure-hugging black gown.

“You’re actually looking your best ever, Nic. Relaxed and stunning,” one fan commented.

Another added: “You are looking the best I’ve seen in years… Says to me that maybe you have been under stress trying to save something that could not be saved. But now you are free. Just move forward peacefully. Your beauty, inside and out, will shine through.”
