Who left Dancing with the Stars?

Karina Carvalho

7NEWS presenter Karina Carvalho has become the second celebrity to leave Dancing with the Stars 2025.

Despite showing clear improvement with a vibrant salsa alongside partner Andrey Gorbunov, the pair didn’t secure enough votes to stay in the competition.

Karina thanked Andrey for his support, saying, “Andrey is not just a fantastic, highly qualified dancer, he’s such a great teacher and he’s put together the most beautiful choreography for us.”

Susie O’Neill

Episode 3

The first elimination of the season was Susie O’Neill!

Susie O’Neill, affectionately known as “Madame Butterfly,” is one of Australia’s most accomplished swimmers. The Queenslander has competed in three Olympics: Barcelona in 1992, Atlanta in 1996, and Sydney in 2000. She won a total of eight medals (two gold, four silver, and two bronze); however, winning the coveted Mirrorball Trophy was not to be for this champion.

In the episode, Susie O’Neill took on a foxtrot, confronting her discomfort with physical closeness. Though her scores were low, the judges commended her growth, aside from Craig Revel Horwood, who delivered a stinging critique: “Seven weeks and seven hours a day wasted, I’d say.”

However, she was happy to have learned “how to hug.”
