EXCLUSIVE: It might be the most exciting day of the year for The Block fans, but Scott Cam admits he has a very different feeling on Auction Day.

In an exclusive and unseen video, which you can watch above, Scotty played a game of ‘this or that’ and revealed how he felt about the most important day on the TV calendar.

Asked to choose whether Auction Day or waterproof inspections were more stressful, the host had a clear answer.

Considering how much difficultly waterproofing causes each year, it’s a high bar!

“Auction Day is the most stressful day of the year for me, it’s tough!” he said.

During another selection, Scotty praised his co-host Shelley Craft’s ability to lift a team’s spirits during their weekly walkarounds.

“Shelley’s pep talks are amazing! I’ll take it any day,” he said.

This host also chose between two renovating jobs no one enjoys and revealed what he thought was more important than a finished room at the end of the week.

Of course, Scotty spent decades on the tools before becoming a TV host and since joining The Block in 2010, he’s seen countless teams take up the challenge.

You would think along the way, he’d pick up some tips to make the weekly renovations as stressfree as possible, but the host couldn’t help but laugh as he answered whether he’d rather be a Block contestant or go back to carpentry.
