Married At First Sight star Liam Cooper asked boyfriend Samuel Levi to marry him in a heartfelt proposal on Wednesday.

The former reality TV star, 33, got down on one knee at the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa in Hepburn Springs, in the Daylesford and Macedon Ranges region of Victoria.

Despite announcing in 2023 the pair had split, Liam proposed to his partner, 32, with a simple sterling silver band, and announced the news to Instagram on Saturday.

‘Huge thank you to @hepburnbathhousespa for helping me arrange this, and making the surprise that extra special.’

The engagement news may come as a shock to some fans who remember Liam and Samuel, who was on MAFS New Zealand, split in April 2023, after 18 months together.

‘As much as it has been for ourselves, and a sad day [sic],’ Liam penned at the time.

‘But myself and Samuel would like to just let you all know we will be taking a break on our relationship. And not moving forward as a “couple” for now.’

Despite the split, the couple remained committed to their friendship and continued to live together.

However, earlier this year Samuel confirmed the pair had rekindled their romance, telling Daily Mail they ‘sure did’ spend his birthday weekend together in April.

Liam first shot to fame on MAFS in 2021 when he was paired with bride Georgia Fairweather.
