Keanu Reeves and his longtime partner Alexandra Grant packed on the PDA on the red carpet after denying marriage rumors.

On Monday, the actor, 61, brought the visual artist, 52, with him to a screening of his upcoming movie Good Fortune and was seen kissing her on the red carpet.

He and his girlfriend of seven years joined the all-star cast at the special event at Lincoln Square in New York City.

The Matrix star — who sparked concern with his disheveled appearance late last month — said that the ongoing rumors are a ‘nice thing’ while at the event, and praised his girlfriend for how she clarified the recent speculation.

Keanu also opened up about his bond with his late co-star Diane Keaton on the red carpet, following her sudden death at 79 over the weekend.

The two had worked together on the 2003 romantic comedy Something’s Gotta Give. They later reunited at the 2020 Oscars to present an award.

He called Keaton a ‘total pro’ in a red carpet interview with E! News, adding, ‘She was very nice to me. Generous, generous artist and a very special, unique person.’

‘It was cool to be able to see her and Jack Nicholson together. Just with the history they shared and the way the fondness and love they had for each other. It’s really cool,’ he said.

Elsewhere he praised his girlfriend for how she handled the speculation about them getting married.

‘Well, that wasn’t the first time,’ he said. ‘We’ve been going out for a long time.’

The actor — who has been dating the artist since 2018 — also shared his thoughts on how Grant had made a social media post to clarify the rumors.

‘The wedding, it’s a nice thing. People did a lot of nice messages and stuff, but Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing, like, “Thank you, but here’s the reality.”‘

At the event, he wore a chocolate brown, satin suit with a pinstriped pattern, pairing the set with a white button-down and a black tie.

His outfit complemented the rich color of his girlfriend’s royal blue halter gown with a silver-beaded, halter neckline design.

Back in late September, Grant took to Instagram to dispel rumors that she and the John Wick star had secretly tied the knot.

She took to Instagram to share a photo of them kissing at an art installation and shared a message to the fans in her caption.

‘This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss!’

She continued: ‘I’m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding. Except we didn’t get married. Good news is much needed these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful out there! So, here’s a bit of real happiness!’

Earlier this month, she gushed over him with a warm birthday post.

‘Thank you to everyone for sending over sweet wishes for Keanu’s birthday yesterday… he was well-celebrated!

‘To Keanu — who saw this post as a draft! — I am so grateful for your love and partnership,’ she wrote alongside a photo of a heart-shaped cake with his name on it in icing.

Reeves’ upcoming movie Good Fortune — an action-comedy directed, produced and also starring Aziz Ansari — features an all-star cast and premieres in theaters on October 17.

The story follows a ‘well-meaning but inept’ angel named Gabriel (Reeves), and his failed attempt to show Arj (Ansari), a struggling gig worker that money doesn’t solve one’s problems.

He body swaps Arj meddles with his boss, a wealthy venture capitalist named Jeff, played by Seth Rogen.

The action costs Gabriel his wings and they watch the work he did as an angel unravel around them.

The film also stars Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh, Sherry Cola and Stephen McKinley Henderson.
