Popular radio host Kyle Sandilands has revealed the selfless act his driver made after being involved in a car crash in Sydney on the weekend.
Radio personality Kyle Sandilands has told the story of a car crash which left his driver George Plassaras, 52, with multiple serious injuries.
“You may have seen over the weekend, it was all over the news, a head-on collision in Rose Bay in Sydney with a Rolls-Royce and a Mercedes,” he said on Monday morning.

“Well, that was my driver, George.”
“Not in the Rolls-Royce, that driver is unscathed, walked away unhurt.”
The incident occurred at 3.30am on Saturday, when LanLan Yang, 23, the allegedly drunk driver of the $600k Rolls-Royce, veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided with Mr Plassaras’ vehicle.
Mr Plassaras sustained various injuries in the crash, including a broken spine, broken right-side ribs, a ruptured spleen and diaphragm, a torn abdomen, two broken hips and two broken femurs, Kyle confirmed on Monday.
Describing him as the “greatest employee ever,” Kyle said his driver began to organize alternative transport for him while he was still in the ambulance.

“What did [he] say when he was taken away in the ambulance? He asked for his mobile phone so he could [do] what?” he said.
“This is a guy at 4.30 in the morning after he has been cut out of his vehicle, he’s been trapped in his van for an hour.
“He asks the ambo: “Get my phone so I can make sure Kyle’s alright for the week.
“While in the ambulance with all of those broken bones.”
After being arrested following a positive roadside breath test, Yang allegedly refused a breath analysis at Waverly Police Station.
She was charged with causing bodily harm by misconduct, being in charge of a motor vehicle, and refusing or failing to submit to breath analysis.
She will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on August 15.
