As the Montreal Canadiens players prepare for the most important game of the season, Martin St-Louis has indeed received excellent news.

His very reliable forward, Joel Armia, who recently missed a few practices due to discomfort, will officially be in the lineup tonight to face the Ottawa Senators.

He will be in his usual spot alongside Jake Evans and Emil Heineman, so the forward lines will be as follows:

“Caufield – Suzuki – Slafkovsky

Roy – Newhook – Laine

Gallagher – Dvorak – Anderson

Heineman – Evans – Armia”

It is also worth noting that, unsurprisingly, Samuel Montembeault will be in net for his team.

Joel Armia will be in the lineup tonight: an almost complete roster for Martin St-Louis and the Canadiens

Aside from Kirby Dach and Kaiden Guhle, this will be a complete lineup for the Canadiens.

When we talk about four-point games, well, tonight will be a big one for Montreal against the Ottawa Senators.

I have a feeling we haven’t heard the last of this showdown between the Habs and the Sens.

What is your prediction for tonight’s game at the Bell Centre?

If we quickly return to Joel Armia and our poll question, for those hoping he follows Jake Evans’ example and signs a discount contract to stay in Montreal, there’s reason to believe it could happen.

“I love the team, I love my teammates. I love being here and playing hockey in Montreal..”

Joel Armia today

Quietly, he and Evans truly form a formidable duo on the penalty kill.
