Out of the 105 matches made so far, only a handful have actually stood the test of time…

Married at First Sight Australia first premiered ten years ago in 2015.
The premise of the popular reality show is that the MAFS experts – John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla – pair together applicants that they think would be a good romantic match.
These pairs then enter an experiment where they get ‘married’ at first sight (the marriage isn’t legally binding) and then spend eight weeks living together.
During this period, couples can choose to leave the experiment – but only if the decision is unanimous.
In the case of one half of a MAFS couple wanting to end the relationship, that can only happen at the end of the eight weeks.
During the series’ 12 seasons, 118 matches have been made by the experts but only a handful have actually stood the test of time…
Are there any couples from MAFS still together?

Erin Batemen and Bryce Mohr
Erin and Bryce were matched together for Season 2 of MAFS.
The couple ended their season together and, despite breaking up briefly in 2017, are still together!
Erin and Bryce are one of the few MAFS couples who have stayed out of the spotlight since appearing on the show and keep details of their relationship private.
However, they did publicly share that they’d bought a house together in 2020.

Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant
Jules and Cam are arguably the most famous couple from Married at First Sight.
The dynamic duo first met when they were matched together for Season 6 of MAFS.
And shortly after the show ended, in 2020, Jules and Cam tied the knot for real.
The couple are still together as of 2025, and share two children together: Oliver, born in 2020, and Carter, born in 2024.

Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli
Martha and Michael were ‘married at first sight’ in Season 6 of the series.
After completing the experiment, the couple announced their engagement in December 2021 and welcomed a child, Lucius, in February 2023.

Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven
During Season 8 of MAFS, Melissa and Bryce’s relationship was heavily criticised.
Bryce was repeatedly accused by viewers, fellow participants, and the MAFS experts of displaying controlling and manipulative behavior during the experiment.
But despite all the backlash, Melissa and Bryce chose to stay together at the final decision.
And as of 2025, the couple are still together. They welcomed twin boys in October 2021 and tied the knot for real in February 2023.

Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente
Kerry and Johnny entered Season 8 of Married at First Sight late as ‘intruders’ but their spark was instant.
The couple got engaged and bought a home together in 2022, and in early 2024, tied the knot for real.

Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James
In a surprising turn of events, Evelyn and Duncan from Season 10 ended up together.
Evelyn was ‘married’ to Rupert and Duncan was ‘married’ to Alyssa throughout the season.
However, Evelyn and Duncan became friends after they were paired together for a ‘couple swap’.
Then, at the end of Season 10, Evelyn broke up with Rupert and Duncan broke up with Alyssa.
And just weeks after the season ended, the couple announced they were together.
Two years later, they’re still going strong in 2025!
Are any of the 2024 MAFS couples still together?

Ellie Dix and Jonathan McCullough
Another couple swap! Ellie and Jonathan both appeared in Season 11 of Married at First Sight but Ellie was ‘married’ to Ben and Jonathan was ‘married’ to Lauren.
However, in the final episode of the season, Ellie and Jonathan confirmed they were in a relationship at the Reunion Dinner Party.
Apparently they began dating shortly after the Final Vows.
Lauren was understandably upset, especially as all season Jonathan told her he didn’t have feelings for Ellie.
As of 2025, Ellie and Jonathan are still together; they celebrated their one year anniversary on November 10, 2024.

Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo
Season 11 intruders Jade and Ridge are still together and, judging by Jade’s Instagram, just spent Christmas 2024 together. How sweet!
What about the 2025 couples?
The 2025 season of Married at First Sight was tumultous to say the least! And only one couple managed to stay together… At least, out of the original pairings.

Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels
In a twist of fate, Rhi and Jeff didn’t really marry at first sight; the two dated before the experiment but the romance fizzled into a friendship.
Rhi and Jeff were in hysterics on their MAFS wedding day, laughing at how absurd the unlikely situation was.
And at first, it looked like the two wouldn’t be able move past the friendzone. But then, after a few weeks in the experiment, love blossomed.
During the Final Vows, both Rhi and Jeff admitted they were falling for one another, and have been happy ever since.
They’ve even been spotted out and about together multiple times since the experiment ended, hand in hand and with huge smiles on their faces!

Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice
Yes, another couple swap! Jacqui was originally paired with Ryan and Clint was originally paired with Lauren.
And so, the two shocked everyone when they revealed at the reunion dinner party that they were together.
Surprisingly, Jacqui and Clint are still going strong. In fact, in April 2025, the couple got engaged.
