Sunrise star Liam Tapper has taken to Instagram to announce the birth of his second baby. The Seven presenter and his wife, Georgia, shared that they have welcomed a baby girl named Josie.
Liam shared several photos of Georgia, Josie, and their eldest daughter Maya. He simply captioned the post, “Our little Josie girl 💕.”
Sunrise‘s Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington announced the news on air on Thursday, revealing Josie was born on Monday and both she and Georgia are doing well.
“Liam says Georgia was a superstar in labour,” Matt said.
Nat added, “Josie is a little sister for Maya, who is already loving being a big sister. We’re looking forward to meeting Josie real soon.”

The Sunrise star was soon flooded with messages of congratulations on Instagram, with The Morning Show’s Kylie Gillies commenting, “She’s here !! Looks like Josie already has all her pussycats wrapped around her tiny finger. ❤️❤️ congrats to you all.”
Kylie’s cohost Larry Emdur also wrote, “Huge congrats to you all .. lots of luv [sic].”
Sunrise’s weather presenter Sam Mac added, “Josie! Welcome to the world sweet girl 🤍 We’re so thrilled for you all & look forward to a babycino sometime soon!”

Edwina Bartholomew also wrote, “Just gorgeous.”
