Farmer Jack still has four ladies left on Farmer Wants A Wife, but it seems an editing fail has given away his final two.

Farmer Jack might have only joined Farmer Wants A Wife a couple of short weeks ago, but he could be just as close to choosing his winner as Farmer Corey, who has been on the show for months. This is despite the fact that Jack still has four women left on his farm: Olivia, Sarah, Hayley and Monique.

In a preview for Tuesday night’s episode, farmers Jack and Corey attend a black-tie dinner with their remaining ladies. But in a very confusing moment for fans, only two of Jack’s ladies are seen – Olivia and Sarah.

Many people were left wondering if they’d missed something when the preview aired, because Jack didn’t farewell anyone on Monday night, yet only appeared to have two women with him in the upcoming episode. Others thought it was a major editing fail that gave away his final two.

On Monday night, Jack went on a 24 hour date with Olivia and while things appeared to go well between them for the most part, she made the surprising admission to him that she was unsure if she ever wants children, leading him to tell the cameras, “That’s not what I wanted to hear.” This left viewers unsure of whether she’s the right woman for him.

Jack has also been on dates with Sarah (who was his first 24-hour date), and Hayley, with whom he awkwardly avoided a kiss last week. He hasn’t had any real one-on-one time with Monique, and judging from the preview for the next episode, this likely won’t happen at all.

Fans confused over Channel 7’s ‘stuff up’

Fans were left confused as soon as the show finished airing on Monday night after seeing only Sarah and Olivia at the black-tie dinner, with one person asking, “Who did Jack send away?”

“What happened? We didn’t see Jack send anyone home, and then we see the ad for tomorrow night,” another asked.

“And they showed the two he’s with in the city,” someone else said. “I’m glad you saw it too, I had to go back and watch on replay in case I missed it lol.”

“I think Jack sent the blonde home, didn’t see her in the ad for tomorrow night’s show,” another said.

“No, Monique (black hair) was not at the black tie previews,” one person added. “Sarah and Olivia were there.”

“What happened to Jack farewelling his person? Did I miss something? Well done Channel 7 editing department,” another confused viewer wrote.

“I think they are showing us who Jack sends home tomorrow night, but we already know because we saw the ad for the Black Tie Dinner,” one person wrote. “He has the vet and the one from Cairns at the dinner. Channel 7 stuffed up again!”

Possible twist in ‘editing fail’

Interestingly, while we don’t see Hayley in the preview, the summary for Tuesday night’s episode in the TV Guide says, “Jack farewells Monique and joins Corey and his final two ladies for a black-tie dinner. Honesty is the name of the game, and Jack must choose his final two. Will Olivia, Sarah or Hayley be sent home?”

While Hayley isn’t explicitly seen in the preview, there are definitely four hands seen clinking glasses together at Jack’s table.

Jack is also seen asking, “Sarah, do you feel threatened by any of the other girls here at the table?” which would be an odd question if there were only one other woman there.

When the camera turns to Olivia, you can just see another person’s shoulder next to hers as well.

It could actually be a clever move on Channel 7’s behalf, as we see Jack send someone home during the dinner, and while we’re led to believe it might be Sarah (as he is seen secretly kissing Olivia while Sarah waits at the table seemingly alone), could it actually be Hayley?

Touché Channel 7, touché…
