After a solid win against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Bell Centre last night, Martin St-Louis and the Montreal Canadiens are back in action today.

We had a few questions ahead of tonight’s matchup against the Nashville Predators, featuring Jonathan Marchessault and Steven Stamkos.

Would Josh Anderson be back, after being scratched from the lineup at the last minute last night for what the organization officially called “family reasons”?

Would Arber Xhekaj finally return to the lineup, after being a healthy scratch for the past four games (he hasn’t played since the end of March).

Would Samuel Montembeault get a rare night off, after a stellar performance last night at the Bell Centre?

Here are the changes in question:

Josh Anderson surprised many.

He hadn’t traveled with his teammates to Nashville, but he arrived at the last minute (separately), and now he will be playing in the game! Wow.

Also, please note that Jakub Dobes will be starting in net, and Arber Xhekaj is returning to the lineup as David Savard is injured.

Emil Heineman and David Savard are out tonight in Nashville (day-to-day evaluation).

Josh Anderson and Arber Xhekaj are back in the lineup.

Savard and Heineman were ruled out at the last second.

Details to follow.
